Welcome to the Internet class blog. The purpose of this blog is to collaboratively research and share topics related to this class. For the first session, we will explore the following topics:

• a comparison of at least 3 free HTTP e-mail accounts (RF)
• safe and effective use of e-mail. (include topis such as e-mail etiquette, attachments, spam, phishing, etc.) (TV)
• topics surrounding safe and effective blogging (CH)
• real time online communications (types, proper use, and safety) (RS)
• using "Google Earth" (VS)
• using "Earth Cam" (NP)
• a collection of assorted international online newspapers (DV)
• a collection of different types of search engines organized by type - ie directory, search engine, meta-search engine, etc. Give some advantages and disadvantages of the different search engines. (KR)

Each of you will take one of the topics and create a blog to describe your findings and create a discussion forum about your topic.
